How to Rotate A Video

Step 1
Upload your video
Upload a video, image, or GIF directly to Kapwing. You can also paste a link to a video from Vimeo, TikTok, or other video source.
Step 2
Rotate and adjust
Use the easy controls to flip, mirror, or rotate your video. If you want to rotate it only a few degrees, you can use plus or minus buttons to slightly adjust your video.
Step 3
Download and share
Just hit Export, and your rotated video will be produced in just a few minutes.

Change Video Orientation Online

Start by uploading your video file or pasting a link to the video. You can then immediately make changes to the rotation by using the transformers at the ends of your video layer. However, your edits don't have to stop there. Once you've found the perfect rotation, use the sliders or the timeline to change the start and end time, make cuts, or shorten your video. You can split a layer into parts and remove the middle section from the video, or duplicate parts of the video to create a loop.

Once you Export the trimmed video, Kapwing will process the rotation edits and give you a saveable MP4 version of the video clip. Preview the final video by pressing play and make any other edits you need. Then, download the MP4 file directly or share the URL with friends to send the trimmed part to someone else. You can also “Edit” the trim if you need to make timing adjustments.
