TikTok soured in 2020 as creators made viral dances, tutorials, and skits to keep viewers entertained. According to Sensor Tower, TikTok had 315 million downloads in Q1, the most downloads for any app in a quarter. As creators grow their following, it’s important to build a connection with followers for long-term engagement.
Written replies and likes aren't the only means TikTok creators have to respond to comments. Creators can reply to a comment with a video for more context and better engagement. Video replies make for a great piece of content, and followers will be elated to see a video response from their favorite creator.
In this article, I'll show you how to reply to a comment on TikTok with a video.
Start by opening TikTok, then select a video and tap on the speech bubble. Find the comment you want to respond to with a video.
Tap the red circle with the white video camera in the center to open your camera. The comment will appear as an overlay on the screen. Now, you're all set to begin recording a video response! You'll have all the usual features to record and edit the TikTok. After you've posted the reply, you'll see a preview of the video in the comment section and on your profile.
