Instagram brings in over a billion (yes, with a B!) users every month, all there for visual content alone. You probably find some of your favorite pictures, videos, and creators on Instagram, but you can only use Instagram content in Instagram itself.

To save photos and videos for yourself, to regram or repost, or to make compilations or edits using that photo, you'll have to download them from the Instagram app to your camera roll. However, you can't download using Instagram app on iPhone or Android alone. You'll need to use an external tool or website to download the MP4 video file.

In this article, I'll show you how to download Instagram pictures, images, and videos using a free website. This website has no spam or ads, so you can use the fast Instagram downloader without worrying about viruses. There's no watermark, and you don't have to download an app to use it. Once you've downloaded the picture or video, you can repost it on Instagram or share it with friends.

Here's what you'll need to do to download the Instagram picture or video:

  1. Copy the Instagram Link
  2. Paste the Instagram URL to the Kapwing Studio
  3. Publish & Download

Note that this approach only works for public Instagram accounts. For Private Instagram accounts, Instagram blocks picture or video downloads.

Step 2: Upload the Video to the Kapwing Studio

If you're planning to repost the video or image, you can add a watermark for the original creator. Trim the video if you want to download a certain part.

Step 3: Process & Download
