1. Upload a photo or video
First, open the Kapwing studio and upload your picture or video. You can click to upload, drag and drop or paste the image or video link in the lower box.
2. Add rounded corners
Next, click your image or video and use the rounded corners tool from the edit options. Slide the handle right for rigid corners or left for rounded corners.
If you'd like to, you can make the background of the image transparent so that you can download the rounded photo as a PNG. Just choose the "No fill" option in the right-hand menu.
The same process works for video layers. Just click the video and slide the handle from the rounded corners edit option on the right.
Note that you can’t make a video background transparent (it's not possible to have an MP4 that's not shaped like a rectangle). Here’s what the final video product will look like when you round the corners:
3. Download your project
When you’re done editing, click ‘Export Image’ (or video) and wait for it to process. Finally, download your project or share it on social media.
The rounded corners will help your image or video draw in visual interest and stand out online. Rounded corners can add smoothness to your designs. The next time you need rounded corners, you can skip Photoshop and get it done on Kapwing with a few clicks!
