No, we do not have an app anymore.

Our previous app was originally created to help users download their projects onto their phones. However, most phones now support direct downloading from the browser, so there's no longer a need for users to download our app as Kapwing is a completely in browser editor.

At this time, we have decided to no longer support the phone app version of Kapwing, as our software is fully accessible within the browser, both for mobile and desktop devices. Since we are still a small team, we want our engineers to focus on making the software itself as excellent as possible, rather than having to spend time maintaining a phone app. This allows us to push out new features more quickly for you and continue to ensure the mobile experience is great.

You can edit and download all your content easily within the browser. Learn how to upload content and download projects to an iOS device in the tutorial below!

Simply navigate to on your mobile browser to get started:

Once you are on the Kapwing page, you can Sign In or create an account by clicking the "Sign In" button located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. It's free to create an account on Kapwing and you will need to be signed in to create a workspace and enjoy features such as watermark-free content.

Whether you have signed in or not, you can click "Start editing" to create a new project.

Upon creating a new project, you have the options to "Start with a blank canvas" or upload content. You can choose to upload content by clicking to upload via your device, pasting an image or video URL, uploading from Google Drive or Google Photos, or trying out a sample.

In this demo, we will upload from the device's Photo Library.

Once you have uploaded your content to the timeline, you can edit your project to your liking. In this example, we edited the video's position on the canvas and added Emojis & text as finishing touches.

When you are ready to download your project to your device, click the "Export" button located at the top of the window:

Your project will then take a few moments to process:

Once the project has finished exporting, you will need to complete the following steps to download the file to your device:

  1. Scroll down on the page and click the "Download" button.

2. Click "Download" again on this next window:
