Kapwing June 2025 Release Notes

New Templates Tab

Now, there are thousands of new templates for Kapwing creators in the side bar under the "Templates" tab. Start with a project instead of a blank canvas.

New Transcription Languages

We added transcription support for more languages, including Belarusian, Welsh, Faroese, Haitian, Hawaiian, Hausa, Breton, Malagasy, Somali, Yiddish and several others. These will now work for adding subtitles, dubbing, and video translation.

Magic Animate

In the Timing tab of a canvas with static layers, use the "Magic Animate" button to animate every layer, creating a magical transition effect.

Smaller changes

• Transcription is faster and more accurate with a new vendor, Scribe by ElevenLabs
• Experimenting with K2, a new chat-to-edit video creation product
• Improved multi-speaker detection and updates for the Translation flow
