Text Presets

We added a collection of text styles and templates in the Text tab so you can add eye-catching text overlays to your projects in one click. Styles include different fonts, background colors, and popular overlays like lower thirds or your social media username. You can also save your most used styles to your team's Brand Kit.

Bug Fixes & Improvements 🛠

  • Request to edit someone else's project – To edit another person's project, you must be a member of the team workspace where the project is stored. Users who aren't in the team workspace can still view and comment on projects that are shared with them, but won't be able to edit the projects. To get edit access, a user can "Request to Edit" a project that's shared with them. If a member from the team workspace accepts their request, the user will be added to the team workspace and can edit the project (Note: this is a paid seat for team workspaces on the Pro plan).
  • Capitalize subtitles and text – We added options to make your subtitles and text all capitalized or all lower case. Find them in the right side menu when editing text.
  • Revamped subtitler experience – We made the subtitler simpler and more flexible. In the subtitles tab, you can get started from one of three options: auto generate, add manually, or upload an SRT. You can also generate subtitles for multiple files at one time and edit the subtitle layers in the timeline.
