Kapwing's AI Video Generator transforms your ideas into video in just a few clicks. Access the AI Video Generator and other AI tools within Kapwing Studio by clicking the lightbulb icon in the top bar at any time.
How Do I Create a Video Using the AI Video Generator?
Click the lightbulb icon in the top bar, enter your video topic or idea, adjust your settings, and click Generate Video.
Your video will be generated within Studio with subtitles, B-roll images / videos, and a matching soundtrack to your prompt. You can record a voice-over, include your own media or adjust the video as needed before exporting as an MP4.
How Is My Video Formatted?
Select from a list of pre-determined settings to format your video before it is generated. You can choose from the following aspect ratios depending on your intended platform:
- 1:1 - Instagram posts, Facebook pictures
- 9:16 - TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Snapchat
- 16:9 - YouTube, Twitch
- 4:5 - Instagram or Facebook videos
- 5:4 - Instagram or Facebook videos
Select your subtitle styling and the video duration, which ranges from 15 seconds to 5 minutes. Once your video has been generated into the studio editor, you can still continue editing your video as needed before exporting.
Does the Video Generator Include an AI Voice-over?
Your video will be generated within the studio editor with subtitles, B-roll images / videos, and a matching soundtrack. The video generator does not include an AI voice-over, however, you can:
- Record your own voice-over or upload a voice-over through the Audio tab in the left sidebar once your video has been generated.
- Use the AI Script to Video Generator which includes an AI voice-over when the video is created.
How Do I Generate Another Video?
If you'd like to generate a new video, you can click the lightbulb in the top bar to open the AI tool menu to start the process again.
If you find that the AI Generated Video output isn't exactly what you were looking for, edit the video within Kapwing Studio to update images, videos, subtitles, music and more.
