How the Vimeo Integration Works

This new integration allows Vimeo Teams to:

• Import videos from your Vimeo library into Kapwing by pasting a link—no download required. You can also browse your Vimeo folders to find the video you’re looking for. 
• Edit with Kapwing’s full creative suite, including 22+ AI tools, animated subtitling, trimming, resizing, and more.
• Export directly back to your Vimeo Workspace—choose your team, set privacy settings, and publish, all from inside the Kapwing editor.

No downloading. No uploading. Just seamless cloud editing.

We’re grateful to Adam and Frank from Vimeo’s Partnerships team, who reached out as part of their investment in empowering creators through the “Create” category. After meeting in-person at NAB this year, we aligned around a shared vision: making enterprise-grade video editing more collaborative and cloud-native. 

Vimeo’s focus on filmmaking and creatives aligned with Kapwing’s mission, and we wanted to serve both communities by making editing easier.
