Prompt tips for better logos

Name the business. Always include the brand name exactly as you want it to appear. The generator uses this to guide how text is styled and placed.

Describe the style. Terms like minimalist, vintage, hand-drawn, geometric, flat design, retro badge, or monogram give the model a clear visual direction to work from. The more specific, the better.

Specify a color palette. Vague prompts produce random color choices. Name specific colors or pairings — "forest green and cream," "black and gold," "pastel pink and navy" — to keep results on-brand.

Mention the icon or mark. If you want a symbol alongside your wordmark, describe it: "illustrated coffee cup," "abstract wave mark," "lightning bolt integrated into the letterform." If you want text-only, say "wordmark only, no icon."

Reference the industry or audience. Context helps. "Trustworthy and professional for a law firm" produces very different results than "bold and energetic for a streetwear brand," even with identical layout instructions.

Keep prompts focused. Aim for 2–4 clear descriptors rather than a long list of requirements. Overloaded prompts often produce cluttered or conflicting results.
