Release Notes - Kapwing MCP

Kapwing MCP live at kapwing.com/mcp. Connect to the server there through Claude, ChatGPT, or another chatbot.

Authorization: Connect the MCP by signing into your Kapwing account. The agent will have the same access as the user who authorizes it, including access to all workspaces.
Get information about your Kapwing Workspace and team. Ask about folder names, latest projects, and more.
Upload assets: Through the embedded uploader, push assets from your computer to your Kapwing account
- Create projects with assets that you have in your media library
Download export: Download finished mp4 videos from Kapwing. This tool call works well for pushing Kapwing exports to other agents or doing more work to analyze outputs.
Language tools: Add captions, transcribe, translate subtitles, and dub videos into a different language. The MCP will create a new Project URL which is editable, so you can make tweaks and changes to the output project directly in Kapwing's video editor.
