New Features ✨
Vimeo Imports
Kapwing now supports uploads and imports from Vimeo!
We’ve teamed up with Vimeo to make your workflow even smoother. You can now upload videos directly from your Vimeo account into Kapwing—no downloads or workarounds required. Just log in through the Vimeo integration to browse and select your media, or paste a Vimeo URL to instantly import content into your project. Whether you’re repurposing past uploads or collaborating on new ones, this new integration makes it faster and easier to get your videos into Kapwing and start creating.
New Visuals Tab
We consolidated images, videos, shapes, and elements under one "Visuals" tab to save you space. Search between media types when looking for a stock asset to accompany your project or add a progress bar, waveform, GIF, or emoji directly.
Speed Trim Mode
In the timeline, Kapwing users can turn on "Speed Trim" mode to simplify timing issues in a project. With Speed Trim mode on, dragging the start or end time of layers will speed up or slow down that layer rather than cutting or extending it and the speed of each layer will show in the timeline.
Use speed trim mode when you want to change the duration of edits without cropping out content or make subtle changes to a video layer to match the audio in a video, like when AI Dubbing.
