How to Download Any SoundCloud Song as an MP3 File
SoundCloud is one of the best music platforms out there – I'm going to show you how to download tracks from SoundCloud for free.
Since most of SoundCloud's music is independent and unreleased on any other platform or in any other format, you can't listen to your favorite tracks offline, unless you pay. However, if you save your Soundcoud music as an MP3 file, you can listen to it on both a phone or computer at any time, incorporate the song into your own images and videos, and more easily share and save the track with friends.

In this article, I'm going to show you how to download songs from SoundCloud as MP3 files for free, online, and on any device. To download songs from SoundCloud, you'll need to know just 3 quick steps:
- Find the song you want to download
- Upload the song to the Kapwing Studio
- Download as an MP3
Step 1: Find the Song You Want to Download
SoundCloud provides several ways to search and find the music you want: you can browse what's trending, search for your favorite artists, songs, & albums, check out related tracks, and explore users' playlists.
Once you've found the track you want to download, simply copy its URL. Either copy the URL after clicking Share next to a track's thumbnail, or go to the track itself, right-click on the URL, and select Copy. For popular singles, you can also copy the link directly from the URL at the top of the page.
Step 2: Upload the song to the Kapwing Studio
Once you've copied the link to the song you want to download, head over to Kapwing.com in your browser and click Start Editing to enter the Kapwing Studio. Here, paste the link you copied from SoundCloud and it will begin uploading to the Studio immediately.
Once it is fully uploaded, you will see the audio track in the timeline and in the media library. Here, you can trim the Soundcloud song to a certain clip, like the chorus of the track or a favorite instrumental section. Use the waveforms as a guide to find the part you want. Drag the start and end time to edit the output MP3 soundtrack.
Once you have the section you want, it's time to export the Soundcloud track. Click the arrow in the upper right corner of the window and select Export as MP3.
